This cycling route, full of viewpoints and wonderful nature, begins in the center of Sv. Križ Začretje 1. At the beginning or at the end of the ride, be sure to visit the complex of the castle Vranyczany. The route leads across the highway to the intersection 2, where you must turn left towards the villages of Vojnić-Breg, Kozjak and Sekirišće. You will return to this intersection on your way back, riding down the route that comes from the south. Continue riding through a narrow valley down the road with almost no traffic. At the intersection 3 (3,6 km from start) with the chapel you must turn left and continue through the village of Sekirišće, and then first uphill and then downhill to the intersection 4 in the village of Martinec Orehovički. At the intersection, turn left and then continue down the macadam road slightly uphill. In the village of Županjići, at the T intersection 5 (7,8 km from start) with a small chapel, turn right and then uphill. The ascent ends soon and the descent begins.

Soon you will reach the intersection 6 (9,3 km from start), where you must turn left and continue uphill. From here on, you will ride across a series of ascents, which will eventually reward you with a beautiful view of the southern Zagorje. Hang in there! At the intersection 7(10,3 km from start), the ascent ends and you must go left onto the ridge road that offers beautiful views of the countryside. Enjoy your well-deserved rest, because there are more ascents to come. In the village of Meštrovići, the ascent begins again, but luckily the space is open and you can enjoy the views. In the village of Perići, at the intersection 8 (12,1 km from start), continue to the right. Soon you will reach a macadam path that will quickly straighten its direction. At this point, you are passing the highest section of the route and do not rush but enjoy nature and views of the countryside. A steep descent begins after 13,6 km from start and therefore please ride through this section very carefully.

Soon you will reach the intersection 9 (15 km from start) with crucifix, where you must turn left and the descent soon ends. At the next intersection, carefully turn right and continue riding through the valley towards the village of Mače. At the intersection 10 (17,9 km from start), carefully turn right towards Zlatar Bistrica and Zlatar. Soon you will reach the center of Mače, where you can rest and refresh. At the intersection 11, turn right. The route continues through a picturesque landscape down the road with reduced traffic, and at the entrance into Poznanovec, you will pass by the manor Poznanovec.

At the intersection 12 (24,2 km from start), you will come across the intersection with the main road. At the intersection, turn right and continue riding carefully. If necessary, you can continue riding on the sidewalk. In the center of Poznanovec, at the intersection 13 (25 km from start), carefully turn left and continue down the road with less traffic towards south. Soon you will reach the valley and pass through the village of Dubovec where, at the intersection 14 (30,5 km from start) with a telephone booth, you must turn right. Afterwards, the route starts descending and you will reach the village of Vučjak where, at the intersection 15, you must turn right towards Bedekovčina. At the intersection 16 (36 km from start), turn carefully left and continue riding carefully. If necessary, you can also ride on the sidewalk. You will pass by the restored manor Donja Bedekovčina and at the intersection 17 (38,2 km from start) with crucifix, you must turn right. Continue riding down a narrow valley through the villages of Mački, Šamci and Žitnjaki to the intersection 18 (41,2 km from start), where macadam roads intersect. At the intersection turn left, and then immediately right, and continue down the asphalted road.

Soon you will reach the intersection 19 (42,2 km from start), where you must turn left onto the macadam path. The intersection can be easily “missed”, so be careful. The cycling route is slowly coming to its end, and at the intersection 20, next to the restaurant Stara škola (Old school) turn carefully right (near the castle Mirkovec) and continue riding towards the intersection 2 and your final destination – the village of Sv. Križ Začretje.

2. T intersection. Turn left.
3. Y intersection with a chapel. At the intersection, turn left.
4. Y intersection. Turn left and continue down the macadam road. The intersection can be easily “missed”, so ride carefully.
5. T intersection with a small chapel. At the intersection, turn right.
6. T intersection. Turn left. Soon you will continue uphill.
7. Y intersection. Keep left.
8. Y intersection. Turn right. Soon the macadam road starts.
9. Intersection with crucifix. Continue left downhill.
10. Y intersection. Turn right. Exit onto the main road.
11. Intersection in the village of Mače. Turn right.
12. Caution! Entry on the main road. Turn right and continue riding carefully. If necessary, you can ride on the sidewalk.
13. Caution! T intersection. Turn left.
14. Y intersection with a telephone booth. At the intersection, turn right.
15. Y intersection. Turn right and follow the signposts for Bedekovčina.
16. Caution! Intersection. Turn carefully left and continue carefully. If necessary, ride on the sidewalk.
17. Y intersection with crucifix. Turn right.
18. Y intersection. Turn left and then straight away, at the intersection with an asphalted road, turn right.
19. Y intersection. Turn left onto a macadam road. The intersection can be easily “missed”, so be careful.
20. Caution! Intersection with the main road. Turn carefully right and continue towards Sv. Križ Začretje.
