This short cycling route will take you through the area south of Tuheljske Toplice (Tuhelj spa resort) and the picturesque valley of the stream Bezavina to the manor Vižovje and further through the valley of the river Horvatska.

The route begins in the complex of Tuhelj thermae 1 (a perfect place for longer stays and cycling through Zagorje). Begin riding towards southwest, ride carefully at the roundabout and over the main road, and then turn left at the intersection 2. At the intersection 3, turn right and continue towards the village of Bezavina, over a slight ascent. The ascent soon becomes steeper and you reach the intersection 4 (1,8 km from start) with crucifix. At the intersection, keep left and continue ascending. After the ascent, you will come onto a ridge road with a beautiful view of the surroundings. Enjoy the ride. At the Y intersection 5 (3,7 km from start), turn right and start descending into the picturesque valley of the stream Bezavina. The route continues through a very peaceful area with beautiful and unique Zagorje landscape.

Soon you will reach the village of Požarkovec where, at the intersection 6 (8,2 km from start) with a small chapel, you must turn left and continue down the steep ascent. When you ride through Zagorje, you cannot avoid neither ascents nor descents, and one of such descents awaits you at the intersection 7 (9 km from start), where you must turn left. During the descent, pay attention to the left side because you will soon see the manor Vižovlje, which you can also visit. After the descent, at the T intersection with a store, turn right and continue down the road with less traffic through the valley until you reach the intersection 8(12,8 km from start). At the intersection, you must turn left and continue towards the village of Dubrovčan. The road leads you further to the village of Gorupči where, at the Y intersection 9 (15,5 km from start), you must turn right and use the overpass to cross over the main road. Continue to the next intersection and then turn left.

After the intersection, the route leads you over the asphalted road with reduced traffic towards the village of Vilanci. In Vilanci, at the intersection 10 (19,7 km from start; it’s easy to “miss” the intersection, so be careful), turn right onto the narrow macadam road and continue towards Tuheljske Toplice (Tuhelj spa resort) where the route ends.
