This beautiful cycling route will take you through the area of Zabok and Sv. Križ Začretje. The route begins in the center of Zabok 1 and continues towards northeast, to the intersection 2, where you turn left. As you continue uphill, the traffic intensity reduces. After the ascent, you will reach a ridge road with wonderful views of the surroundings. Do not rush; enjoy this part of the ride. At the intersection 3 (4 km from start), turn right onto the macadam road. You can easily “miss” this intersection, so be cautious. A descent will start soon, so ride carefully, and at the end of the descent, at the intersection 4 (4,8 km from start) with crucifix, you must turn left. The route leads you further over a small hill to the intersection 5 (5,7 km from start) with crucifix, where you must turn right and continue towards the village of Sv. Križ Začretje. Be sure to visit the center of the village, where you can relax and enjoy the complex of the Vranyczany castle.

At the intersection 6 (7,3 km from start) turn left and ride in direction northwest through the valley of the stream Pačetina. Soon you will reach the intersection 7 (12,5 km from start), where you must turn left and follow the signposts for Krapinske Toplice (Krapina spa resort) to the intersection 8 (14,9 km from start). At the intersection, turn left onto the macadam road and follow the signposts for Toplički pješački prsten (Pedestrian ring of Toplice). This intersection can be easily “missed”, so be careful. The route continues uphill until you reach the ridge of the hill, which offers wonderful views of Strahinjčica and Ivanščica. At the intersection 9 (16 km from start), turn left onto the forest road and continue downhill. At the intersection 10 (16,8 km from start), turn right and continue carefully downhill into the valley. You will pass by the ranch Vrbanc and reach the intersection 11 (19,1 km from start), where you must turn left onto the macadam road. This intersection can be easily “missed”, so be careful. Continue your ride through the picturesque valley of the stream Krk. Soon you will reach the main road and continue further to the intersection 12 (21,7 km from start), where you must turn right towards the village of Gregurovec. Cross the main road carefully, continue straight forward, and then left. You will pass by the beautifully restored manor Gregurovec along the stream Kosteljina until the Y intersection 13 (25,4 km from start) with a monument. At the intersection, you must turn left onto the macadam road, carefully cross the main road and continue straight forward towards Zabok. In the village of Gubaševo, at the Y intersection, you must keep to the left. You are slowly approaching Zabok and at the roundabout 14 (29,3 km from start) you must carefully turn left and continue riding cautiously towards the center of Zabok, where this cycling route ends.

6. Intersection with a store in the southwestern corner. Turn left.
7. Y intersection. Turn left and follow the signposts for Krapinske Toplice.
8. Y intersection. Turn left onto the macadam road and follow the signposts for Toplički pješački prsten (Pedestrian ring of Toplice).
9. T intersection on macadam road. At the intersection, you must turn left, and continue downhill. The intersection can be easily “missed”, so be careful.
10. Y intersection. Turn right and continue carefully downhill.
11. Y intersection. Turn left onto the macadam road. The intersection can be easily “missed”, so be careful.
12. Intersection with a small chapel. Turn right towards the village of Gregurovec.
13. Y intersection with a monument. Turn left and continue down the macadam road.
14. Caution! Roundabout, continue carefully to the left, towards the center of Zabok.
