This medium-long route will take you through the valley of the river Sutla and southwestern Zagorje and it will connect you with the network of cycling routes in Zagreb County.

The cycling route begins in Klanjec 1 on the main square, near which you will notice the gallery of Antun Augustinčić and Franciscan monastery with the Church of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The route continues along the Antun Augustinčić Street next to the library until the Chapel of St. Florian. After the chapel, at the Y intersection 2, keep left and continue down the macadam road. Soon you will come to the Y intersection 3 (1,9 km from start) with crucifix and at the intersection you must keep right. After 3,6 km from Klanjec, at the Y intersection 4, turn right towards the church of St. Phillip. All the way from Klanjec, you will ride down the wonderful ridge road with the view of the surroundings. After the church of St. Phillip you will reach the Y intersection 5 where you must turn left and continue shortly uphill.

Pass through Ledine Klanjičke and continue through Kapelski Vrh to Kraljevec na Sutli (Kraljevec on the river Sutla) where, at the intersection 6 (8,8 km from start), you must turn right. At the intersection, there is a small Chapel of St. Peter’s,  a shop and a restaurant. After the turn, at the next intersection with the church of St. Trinity, turn left and then continue towards the river Sutla that dominates this area. The route leads you further through Gornji and Donji Čemehovec where, at the T intersection 7 (12 km from start), you must turn left. The road to the right leads to the border with Slovenia. We continue further along the valley of the river Sutla towards Strmec Sutlanski where, at the Y intersection 8, you must turn left and continue riding slightly uphill.

At the Y intersection 9 (17 km from start) with crucifix, turn right and soon you will come to the excursion site Dva potoka (Two streams). This is an ideal place for rest and refreshment. Continue riding through the picturesque valley and soon you will reach the area of the Municipality of Luka. At the Y intersection 10 (23 km from start) turn left and continue towards the center of the village of Luka. The village of Luka is also an ideal place for rest if you missed the previous one. Afterwards continue riding next to the church of St. Roch to the Y intersection 11 (26,5 km from start), where you must turn left and follow the signposts for the villages of Domahovo, Zelengaj and Vadina. After the turn, you will reach a small valley and drive down the road without traffic. At the Y intersection 12 (30 km from start), turn left onto the macadam road. The ascent begins after the turn and at the intersection 13you must turn right and continue along the ridge macadam road with the view of the surroundings, until you reach the church of Majka Božja Strmečka (Our Lady of Strmec) in Strmec. After the church, at the Y intersection 14, turn left at the beginning of the descent and ride carefully. After the descent, at the intersection with a small chapel, turn right and continue through Požarkovec to the intersection 15 (35,7 km from start), where you must turn left and continue uphill, and then downhill to Lučelnica, where – at the intersection 16 – you must carefully turn right, and then, at the next intersection with the gas station, turn left. Afterwards the route will take towards Klanjec, where the route ends. However, before the very end you can expect an ascent, as icing on the cake.

1. Beginning of the route in Klanjec. Continue along to the library down the narrow asphalted road to the south.
2. Y intersection after the Chapel of St. Florian. Keep left.
3. Y intersection with crucifix. Turn right.
4. Y intersection with crucifix. Turn right.
5. Y intersection. Turn left uphill.
6. T intersection with the Chapel of St. Peter, store and restaurant. At the intersection, turn right and at the next intersection, next to the church of St. Trinity, turn left.
7. T intersection. Turn left. The road to the right branches off to the border crossing Čemehovec.
8. Y intersection. Turn left towards the village of Luka.
9. Y intersection. Keep right.
10. Y intersection. Turn left and continue towards the center of Luka.
11. Y intersection. Turn left and follow the signposts for the villages of Domahovo, Zelengaj and Valdina.
12. Y intersection. Turn left and continue down the macadam road.
13. Y intersection. Turn right and continue slightly uphill.
14. Y intersection. Turn left and continue down the steep descent.
15. T intersection. Continue straight forward towards the village of Lučelnica Tomaševečka.
16. Caution! T intersection. Turn right and then, at the next intersection with the gas station, turn left towards Klanjec.
